How long will it take for my job to start?

The time that a job takes to start can vary. Factors that affect waiting time include the number of number of pending jobs from other customers, the number of jobs currently running, and available hardware.

If there are no other pending jobs, yours should start within five minutes.

On average all jobs start within an hour of submission. However, there is no current guarantee that jobs will start within this time frame.

How long will my job take to run?

As with the job starting, a number of factors can influence how long your job will take to complete. These factors include (but are not limited to):

• Model size

• Training data size

• Network conditions when downloading/uploading files

You can estimate how long your job will take to complete by multiplying the number of epochs (one complete pass of the entire training data through the learning algorithm) by the time to complete the first epoch.
