I’m trying to buy credits, why do I keep seeing a $0.00/small charge instead of the amount I specified? 

Whenever you try to use a new card on the Together platform we will first charge a small arbitrary amount (this can be $0.00, 0.01 or $1.00) to the card before you are allowed to proceed with the purchase/linking the card to your account.

This charge is what is known as an auth hold. It's a common practice used by merchants (such as Together.ai) to ensure that cards details are valid and that the card is active before allowing further transactions to take place.

The auth hold will always be fully refunded automatically when the card has been verified successfully. The refund is typically immediate, but processing times can vary.
